What wheel studs
I'm assuming I have a later truck rear as it's a 5x5 patern. Anyone know what rear wheels studs are needed? Snap one and want to replace with like ARP or something else legal.

Re: What wheel studs
I would go to a 1/2 inch long stud and open ended lug nut. Some of them screw in from the rear of the axle. Just check Jeg's or Summit.

Re: What wheel studs
I was going to go with press in's. Any idea regards to the knurl size? I have 1/2-20's right now, but like you mentioned I want to go open shank style.

Re: What wheel studs
Super I am currently shopping for the same thing and here is what I have found so far. I am also 5x5 1/2x20 thread.
I knocked one of my wheel studs out just over the weekend and it measures .524 on the knurl. The smallest stud I can find has a .530 knurl and the length is the same as this one. I too am going to a longer stud. So, I'm gunna buy some studs that have a .560-.565 knurl and just trim the axle a bit if that knurl is too large to pop the cherry :) |

Re: What wheel studs
If you guys are going to run Weld draglites your going to need 3" studs and the really long shank nuts.

Re: What wheel studs
Those will need massaging. I actually ground a little off of the start of the knurl and forced them in. You will surprised hom much needs to be removed.
