My guess...totally a guess here, but:

1016AK is a motor ID# 10/October 16/16th
and the AK tranny, etc... code

L78-15-B on/off road
maybe orig. tire??? is it a 4x4???

What year is it? maybe the AK will jive with year in motor ID decoder?

Could be a tire designation.

L78 back in the day was the tire size, 15 is the rim diameter, B indicated Blackwall, and most likely was a pre-runner of what now is known as Mud-and Snow tires...my guess is it probably is for 4WD.
