Chassis same as a C-10?
 

I know they are not the same. I used that title to hopefully get some attention and a correct answer from those of you who know the surburbans.
What I am actually asking is "are the front section of the frames from say the crossmember forward the same"? Mainly wondering if the core support and the section of frame it sits on is the same from a 1/2 ton pickup?

Yep. No differences I'm aware of.

Pretty much the front half of the frame is the same.
