Lower control arm rubber seal, which way does it face?

Did a search of old threads but still not certain on this one. '66 C20, lower control arms. What is the proper orientation of the raised "lip" on the rubber seals - toward the shaft as I have it started below, or lip to the outside where it will contact the nut? Thanks!

Thanks Spud! I had looked it over and come to the same conclusion. That problem is solved, then I took a "stupid pill" and created a new one. Still evaluating that issue and will probably start a new thread soon.
