Pete, where are you seeing the water? If its coming from below the dash, running down the sides near the door hinges, I'd take a really good look at spot-welded seam in the roof gutter. Look for any tell-tale signs of rust. Could be a leaking windshield seal too.

Here's where I found my leak:

Evening all not been on for a while just been so busy with work and other commitments.
Now it's more truck time whoop whoop time to refresh the the hood of old shoddy repairs (filler then more bondo) all. Over the whole hood.
Looking for some thoughts should I keep this hood ornament or should it go.

That's a tuff one Pete , as your truck is called the silver Indian . I have a hood bird for mine but still unsure whether to fit it or not , as I kinda like it without a ornament .

Hi all not been on for a while due to having many commitments ei vows renewal,
And broken iPad now fixed.
So for a bit of an update we’ll the hood has been painted looking good. New hood ornament as well digging through my friends toolbox and found it and said it’s yours if you can make use of it.
And inbetween sorting that had to arrange getting my my wife’s new truck grill (1941 Chevy) rechromed that was hard enough in its self with out her ether finding it or asking were I am going 150 mile round trip twice was worth it tho.
Think she was happy when I gave The (1941 Chevy) to her as a wedding present.

And would also like to say a big thank you to Martin and sally for coming too the wedding and driving the truck back for us.
Put a smile on his face lol
:metal:
Let’s hope we make another 25 years:metal:

Hi all just wondering if anyone could give me some advice.
Would anyone one know if a Chevy c10 and Chevy c30 front crossmember
Are the same.
We’re the crossmember connects to chassis.
Thanks in advance Pete

Re: The SILVER INDIAN: '61 Apache Stepside, 5th Wheel Hauler in Brighton, England.

I have bolted a C10 front cross member to a C30 frame and no issues. I do not see why it wouildn't work the other way. The A Arms are different between the 2, but exactly how I do not remember.

The '73-'87 C20 and C30's retained the steel bushings on the control arm shafts just like the '63-'72 C10's did. The crossmember should interchange.
