I need a s-10 power steering pump setup (serpentine for a 2.5 4 cylinder)

Title says it all. I have an '89 2.5 S-10 that has manual steering and I need to change it over to power steering. Not too difficult a job, but it HAS to be the serpentine belt style setup. If anybody has any spare S-10 parts trucks with this, please pm me. Thanks in advance for any help and thanks to the guys who are already looking for me..........Jerry :metal:

TTT anybody?

Tink 09-27-2005 02:50 PM

The only lead I've gotten is someone who wants to sell the entire 2.5L out of an 88... Sorry!

Thanks for looking out for me Tink. I'm sure one will turn up soon enough. Later, .......Jerry

I'll shoot some pics as soon as I get the grill & rad. support in.

Cool. Have you ever been to Russell's in Dinwiddie? When we lived down there we would go out there pretty regularly... he always had a lot of S-series... just wondered if you checked there...

Bamm 09-28-2005 09:20 AM

Haven't checked there yet, thats a little bit of a drive for me. I've been there many times though, good junkyard. Oak Hill is out there also. Might try to swing by there this weekend since i'll be out in Dinwiddie for Super Chevy anyway. Later, .......Jerry

I forgot about Super Chevy Show! Thanks for the reminder... maybe we will see you there on Sat.

Good luck at the junkyards, I'm still looking around on the S-series boards...

My dad has a 92 S-10 w/2.5l (motors locked up) setting up in the bushes behind his house. I don't have a clue what one's worth? The pump seals are probably dried out (it's set up for 3 or 4 years).

PM me cuz I just happened to notice this, I don't get over this way often.
