Nicely built. Anyone notice what looks like a clutch pedal?

It was originally a 4-speed stick, he converted it to a 700-R4 and wanted to keep the 4-speed look. I did the same thing on mine.

That would be confusing to anyone trying to steel it! Lol

Cool look. Would like to see a buddy's face, that didn't know about the auto, when they depressed the clutch and started looking for first gear.

Definitely a nice ride and worth the buy it now price... but not my taste. The color matched top, late model seats, and Chevrolet graphic on the tailgate are turn-offs for me. I like them when they look as close to factory as possible on the outside with modern underpinnings. 61Cadman, your Blazer with an LS swap would be the beez-kneez as far as I’m concerned. ;)

With no SPID sheet no way 25k
For 25k it would have to have the rest of the trim, top painted white, bottom rocker paint matched to rest of truck, the correct seats, and switched to 5 lug on some 20" Billets..
And most important, take off that bowtie off the lower fender and Slap the K5 Blazer fender tag back on..
Call me picky but that's what it would take for 25k to leave my pocket..

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

The one in the Inland Empire is not an original 2wd but may be a good start for a custom, and the one in Los Angeles I spent a day driving to look at it, it has the worst rust I have ever seen. It would need all new sheet metal. The picture must have been taken a long time ago. The owner thinks it's worth a million dollars. Everything under the tarp is gone. Not worth anything in my book.
Just my 2cents.

There is a 2wd GMC Jimmy on eBay. It looks like it needs some rust & dent repair, but...

Door panels and steering wheel don't seem to be 1972

I thought I seen this one on Instagram forsale for $7500?

I'd be curious to know what someone would pay for my 70 blazer. Body is straighter, but typical rust in floor.

I have everything complete. Only thing that I don't have that is correct is the dash pad. I have original straight 6 and it runs and drives! Even have original wheels and original spare tire carrier

Judging by the door panels and doors which appear to be original to the truck, the rear view mirror bolted to the windshield header and the placement of the TCS relays on the fire wall, this is a '71, not a '72. Not sure how that affects his 'one of 117 built in 72' claim, or for that matter, where he even came up with that statistic.

Good eye ls1nova71!! Looks like he changed the description to a 71 on the Ebay ad at the bottom.

Another one on eBay on a shortened truck chassis. Looks like the metal, hardtop and hatch are in decent condition and a good start to a project.

I saw this one also on Craigs. I wonder if it's a factory 2wd!

It is odd that it has '73-up control arms with the rubber bushings, so it probably isn't, but if it's been done right I don't see anything wrong with it.

Mine's not a factory 2wd. I actually prefer it that way since I don't feel bad cutting it up. (Ok, to be honest, I'd have cut it up either way...but a clean and rust free tub was more important to me than the original running gear).
