FS: 72 350 4 bolt main bare block cheap
 

I have a bare 350 4 bolt main block I removed from a 72 Cheyenne pickup a couple of years ago. Also comes with original crankshaft.
First $100 takes it. Sorry NO shipping.

I doubt its a steel crank, but will check the numbers on both and post what I find.

just for general FYI, 3970010 is a high nickel block. They're pretty bomb proof and a great foundation for a stout little 350. 4 bolt mains, etc. It definitely increases the value if this one is an '0010' block.

3970010 was a general casting number for 350 blocks from 1969-1979 and some 1968 327, and come in nearly every car & truck in all HP configurations. Some were high nickel, most were not. The high nickel blocks had "010" casting mark inside the timing chain cover and some had it on he side of the block.

Scott: Did I have any standing in this posting? Dario1 came into this thread late and only ask the question as to whether you had main caps for the block. At no time did he express any interest in purchasing until i expressed interest in this posting. I am away on vacation and was going to contact you when i got back home.
As I looked , back at the thread it seems that GMC 2500 4X4 may have showed interest in this before both of us!
