Sublaze

Im making a 2 door roadster out of a 68 sub,it sits on a 90 chevy truck frame,so far I have cut the top off dehind the front doors.I have a 90 truck bed I was going to use for the back, not sure if I will have to narrow it yet,I have a 5-7 drop on the frame and will see if it needs a body drop.I will send pics as soon as i get some down loaded.Seen one in the new Truckin mag. and that started it for me,and no turning back now.

Seeing as how i'm the least visual person I can't picture what you're saying so I NEED pics to understand what's going on. It sounds pretty interesting.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't it against board rules to post something like this without pics?

Re: Sublaze

I don't think it's against board rules, just frowned upon by the hierachy, More than likely to get one or two of these...

:wop::wop:

Com'on with the pics, we're all waiting:haha:

Oh, BTW. Welcome to the boards from Philly. Home of the World Series Champion PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES

I'm really trying to picture where this is heading but I'm not seeing it. Just curious, why not use a Blazer to make a two door roadster? Also, would you like this moved to the projects/builds section (more traffic there - no offense Blazer/Jimmy dudes).

That's pretty wild.

Re: Sublaze

I have looked at some blazers to make the Roadster out of and the price they for a 2wheel and the amount or rust in these years was too much. I had the Sub sitting in back of my shop so I thought I had nothing to lose by cutting it up(sorry Sub fans).I have a newer bed plus both stock truck bed sides for the the back when I get to that part.Once I get the body back on I will see how much body drop I will need to get It where I want it(not wanting to use air bags)

Re: Sublaze

Well there you go :) You know, though, after doing a frame swap as you did the 2wd thing was not really a factor. Are you going to add rocker boxes? Looks like the width of that frame may not allow it. Looking forward to more pics!

When you are in your Account at Photobucket, Find the Pic you Want to Post & Then Click on img code which is the 4th one down & You will see it turn Yellow for a Moment Say Copied. After Doing that Step you just Paste it into your Post.

This is an Example from my account..........

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...ad/16c9_12.jpg

I would Suggest that you use a Word Processing Program such as Notepad or Word & Type up your Content of what you wish to Post & insert the Image in this by your Text. When Done with all Typing of Mesage & Pasting of Pics in the Document you can Cut & Paste this into the area for your Post..........

I Hope this make's some sence to you...

Rick
