Line lock suggestions
 
Im in the process of looking for a line lock (roll control etc) for my 71 c20. Im just wondering what brand is recommended.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've had the same TCI line loc on mine for 20 years. I guess I'm just waiting on it to fail.

Same here, TCI been on for 16 years.

I know Nothing about Line Locks but would like to . Would you guys be willing to teach an Old Fart how they work and how they are installed ?

look on the firewall by the hood hinge you'll see the solenoid valve plumbed in to front brake line..

12v momentary switch usually mounted on shifter or built into knob..

press brake pedal firmly, push and hold button, release pedal and front brakes stay applied until button released..

takes a little getting used to but works great and sure beats baking the rear brakes to warm up tires ;)

When installing, do you need to plumb it before or after the proportioning valve? Does it make a difference?
