What are you doing for spark? Thats a carb right? Or is it a holley converted to a throttle body? Are you running an ECM for the EDIS, or do you have the kit to add a distributor?

Re: lets see your trick mods and custom touches!!
Here is a mod I just finished a few weeks ago. I took the old B&M shifter out of the truck and replaced it with a 2000 S-10 Blazer shifter. It has 2 cup holders as well.
The shifter has the brake solenoid wiring hooked up as well but with a little twist. I have a switch hidden so that if I drive it someplace and leave it I can cut it off and even if you get it cranked you can't get it out of park. ;) A little anti theft prevention can go a long ways.;):chevy: http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/...C1422CE24F.jpg http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/...C14BCFA33E.jpg http://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/...C15B2A0682.jpg |

http://i447.photobucket.com/albums/q...311_182344.jpg http://i447.photobucket.com/albums/q...410_192801.jpg I designed a new face, and cut it out on the waterjet. http://i447.photobucket.com/albums/q...413_192447.jpg Found some simple black knobs from Stillen, and filled the cutouts and holes in the face with translucent acrylic so the light will shine through it. The button on the left is for my glowplugs. http://i447.photobucket.com/albums/q...002_184025.jpg The turbo on my diesel sits right where the stock heater core housing is, so I adapted a 73-87 non-AC heater unit. http://i447.photobucket.com/albums/q...306_215011.jpg The internal unit worked well too with just a few mods. |

This one really isn't trick or fabbed but very practical. I bought the Blazer/Jimmy under dash wiring harnes from Roger Koop. It fit right into my dome light harness and I used LED's for brightness. Lights up the inside of the truck very nicely, especially with the LED bulb in the dome lamp as well.

Thought I'd bring this up to see if anything new has been thought of...

Here’s mine, I ordered a reproduction 72 grill surround for my 70. Had it powder coated gloss black. Ordered a black billet grill. Then put true LED halo's in it. I think it looks mean as hell! I almost forgot, I mounted LED turn signals to the core support. This way they’re visible through the grill.

I put a Home link garage door opener in all my classic vehicles.
I had one in the 71 C 10 in the ash tray and now I have them in the 67 Ramp truck, 64 SS Impala and the 56 Bel Air. The one in the Ramp truck I mounted it into the sun visor. I also installed late model mirrors with temp & compass in my 71 & Ramp truck. I also made my Ramp truck horn button out of some Hobby Lobby metal emblems.:chevy: |
