IDK if I have already asked you this or not, but do you know how to wire in a visor like yours has?

One thing at a time...... :chevy:

Trying to be be artistic when I got bored this afternoon.

The next one is of me being "stupid" more than "artistic" the t-case was grounded out.
irrigation ditch i forgot about, i got out by placing floor mats infront of the tires and it gave me enough traction to jam the hell out of it.

Yoy haven't Scootin. It was already wired when I bought the truck but it wasn't working so I know how it was done. It is bolted down and the light were ran through one of the bolt holes with a rubber boot. Then it was ran through the top and second metal part of the roof and down into the cab through the visor area.

I moved it from the visor area b/c that is what made it not work by rubbing and grounding out. So there is a little area where the top and bottom of the metal headliner meet at the A pillar. So I was able to get the wires do through there and then behind the molding and then into the dash where it's wired to come on with the running lights. Hope this helps and I didn'r confuse you.

Re: Artistic Shots.

Does it have a single wire that is power and no ground like mine? If it has a signle wire, how is it wired into the switch?

Slick17 01-11-2010 08:54 PM

Re: Artistic Shots.

Mine has a ground and hot wire. The ground wire I left where the p/o had it at the visor mount. The hot wire is the one that I ran to the running light hot wire. You may have a ground wire somewhere that may not be visable once installed. But inorder to work you would need a power and ground somewhere.

Re: Artistic Shots.

Ok, cause I've heard it grounds through one of the mounting holes. I may end up running the wires individually from each light and then narrow them down to 1 hot and 1 ground to the switch. Think it'll work? I did it on my christmas lights.
