There is a 1987 Chevy R20 silverado on craigslist near me with no title , it's a shame it looks pretty good but without a title it's a parts truck at best .

Here's mine - was listed for many weeks but the guy couldnt make time for anybody to come and look at it. Stiffed me a couple of times. After trying and failing to buy a different truck out of town - I took another shot on a whim and called the guy again - he says "come and get it right now".

Good deal, no rust, all functional except AC and Cruise.

That's my favorite step. Wonder how the rest of it looks. Prices have doubled and tripled around here on squares, see very few less than 2K anymore.

Pair GM doors, L/R, in boxes. Boxes were made in March 95 so I assume the doors were too. Factory bad welding,seam adhesive and e-coat. Boxes were open on one end, enough to look at them but not enough to pull them out. $300 later they are mine. Less than 10 miles from my house! Also turns out it was the husband of one of the teachers that my girls had a few years back.

Totally agree. Have been "thinkin" on this one, if you know what I mean. If had spare room and $, this would be in TX by now. Don't find them this original very often. Price reflects the demand though. Assuming no hidden big issues, could be worth it - would be a great dd runaround truck. Reminds me what everyone was running around in in Kentucky in the summers when I was a kid. Here's a pic just for posterity once the link is dead:

I'm afraid so - or perhaps Autozone... Party foul either way. You can see the old mirror holes. I'd still love to have it. Usually a MAJOR pet peeve of mine (the crappy mirror swap sins), I've found I can live with swapping back to the correct ones, and getting little metal hole covers from Lowes or wherever, paint to match, and stick em in there and be ok with it. Cheesy, but not as cheesy as those mirrors and better looking than holes.
