Relocating OEM 241 shifter
 

Hello All,

I am building a new console for ny 89 burb. I want to mold the console from between the seats to the dash to accomodate a new style android receiver and relocate the shifter. I was looking at JBs and NWFs cable set ups but sort of like the thought of relocating the OE shifter and modifying my linkage or combining it with a cable.

Has anyone made something like this? As I google i get a lot of cable conversions with aftermarket/homemade setups with cable.
