Mustang II IFS and air springs

I am just putting a Mustang II IFS with air springs under my 47 GMC and have a question for those that are familiar with Air suspensions. I have set the cross member and top hats as recommended to get the correct alignment specs when the bottom A arms are level with the cross member. I am noticing that the air springs are not at the half way of their stroke at this level setting, more like 2/3. Should I be adjusting this to 1/2 way now? I am looking for a good ride and not really looking to set the truck on the ground.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Mustang II IFS and air springs

The air springs/bags need to be set @ their manufacturers recommended height for best ride quality of the given spring. Too much/too little of air pressure can impact the ride quality.
