cant get the camber out!!

I have a 67 with the Performace Online lowering /disk swap kit. It got the 2.5 in lowering spindles with 1 In drop spring. All new front steering components and gear box. I went and had it aligned and the passenger side upper controll arm is in as far as they can go, no shims left and i still have to much positive camber. Any ideas on a solution? I was thinkin tubular uppers but thought they pushed the top out also.

TIA

Might have the frame checked for straight and true. It might be a bit out due to a past accident or just 50+ years of use.

I sure thought when lowering these then typically the camber is too negative. Since yours is opposite I am not sure what to think.
Good luck

I had asked them if it looked like there may have been damage and they didn't think so. Panel gaps are good everything looks to be original and in order. So maybe lime you said 50 years of use? Not sure but ine summer approximately 5k and my tire is about worn.

Correct.

@Dead Parrot, post up some pics & lets see if we can't get this figured out.

Did you accidentally install the uppers on the wrong side?

As I read through the post, this is kinda what I was thinking too.

Looking at the truck from the side, do the front wheels look like they're too far back in the wheel wells? For example if you drop a plumb on center of the wheel well opening is the center line of the wheel significantly further back? If I'm thinking clearly (I'm old..) I'm pretty sure it would shift the wheel centerline back (?)

The caster would sure be off in this case but not sure if it also affects the camber.

I don't think so but letting everyone run through their theories while waiting for some images 😎.
