2003 chevrolet S10 wheels/tire sizes

My dad has a 2003 Chevrolet s10 pickup.

When he bought it, it had the plain base model painted steel wheels on it.

He bought a set of these wheels, used... the GM/Chevy stock 15 inch aluminum wheels for the s10 pickup/blazer.

He is wondering about tire sizes.

The tire size currently with the plain steel wheels : P205/75R15.

He is wondering/trying to determine if he should go with that size or something else.

So... if any of you have these wheels on your s10 pickup/blazer, I'm interested in knowing what size tires you are running.

Thanks.

The stock tire size should be on a sticker on the driver door jamb somewhere. If it's gone then you can contact a dealer with the vin and they can tell you. I am running 205/75/15's for the winter and they fit the truck well.

I've currently got those wheels on my El Camino with LT235/75-15.
They are 7" wide and came with the 205/75-15, which are the correct size for that wheel.

Is there a name or nickname for these wheels?

Are they just the aluminum wheels for the s10 pickup/blazer?

A cousin of mine, it turns out is looking for a set as well, so I thought I'd do a little clicking around... but wasn't sure what terms to use.

Thanks for any tips.

5 swirl spokes (or slots), available on all 2wd '98-'02 S10/15. You can get them aftermarket as well.
When I was looking to replace one of mine, I posted a wanted ad on CL with a pic of the wheel. I think that they also came in a gold finish.

Here are the tires papa went with on his(mama's) 2003 S10 with the "new to him" wheels... thanks for the information folks.

P205/75R15

Michelins of course... dad don't mess around with his tires.

He's never had a blow out with a michelin and he's had good wear on 'em over the years, so that's what he always buys.

Looks good, Your dad is a smart man. I'm a michelin man myself. I bought my first for set of Mchelins for my wifes car. Been Michelin man ever since. I got 70,000 out of those tires. They still had tread left, but they were getting hard and got slippery in the rain is the only reason I took them off.

I've had many of those little trucks. I always ran 215/70/15's and they fit very well. They are just a tad wider, but not taller, so there's no speedo error. However, those Michelins look nice and I'm sure they will serve him well.
