door differences

I know i have read about this before....................my truck has one original door for it's 69 cab... the other door is from a 71 i believe and it has a dimple and a hole adjacent to the wind wing area on the inside of the door top edge kinda right below the wing arera. Can this hole and dimple be filled??

Thank you

Re: door differences

The door with the hole at the vent window is a 72. If you fill the hole you will need to make sure of the brace in the area, (look in your 69 door as it will have a flat piece of sheet metal that connects the two halves of the door).

67-71 doors had cracking problems in the connection allowing the door to spread so the screw was added in 72 to cure the problem.
