vacume lines

Starting on the ac / heater control dash assembly. Does anyone have or know where to send me to get the small vacuum lines routing. Last po just cut them and I think left some off. I assume the middle of the receptor is for the engine hose. 1978 c10 org a/c truck

Does anyone sell a replacement kit

Re: vacume lines

LMC has replacements for the more common setups. Some were plumbed differently than others. I was lucky enough to find a couple A/C vac harnesses at my local pick and pull though.

Try E-Bay to find them. or A/C shop, ask them to replace or if they can order for you.

Got all my vacuum lines for the a/c heater connected except one. It is a solid black line with a straight rubber connector on the end. It is the only line with a straight connector. It has a broken black plastic male connector in it and the other end of the connector has a red rubber hose on it . this red rubber hose was longer and had some sort of factory molded bend in it but it fell apart before I could get a picture of it. It is not the vac can supply as that is a black and gray line that has a firewall grommet attached to it. I have attached pictures . Thanks 1978 c10

found it. That's the good news. Now the bad news. I am going to have to remove the heater box to fix it. It connects inside the heater box. the organe hose goes straight up out of the top of the heater box makes a 90 and that' where my line connects. My problem is the orange hose is rotted so bad it is falling apart as I touch it. Not sure what the orange hose connects to but what ever it is it is inside the box. LOL old car challenges.

My harness was a challenge to run as well. It’s worth it to have the blender and levels operate correctly though!

Re: vacume lines

update . I removed the heater box today and sure enough the vacuum connection for the all black line goes into the top of the box and connects to the same actuator as the yellow line. This actuator has two vacuum connections, one on the inside of the box which has a short red runner hose to the outside of the box (which is the one that rotted away on my box and then the solid black hose connects to it on the top outside of the box) and the yellow connects on the back of the box on the outside. All put back together and moving on to the next challenge.
