That looks great, the side shot really shows what a superb job you did of shortening the body and lining up the wheels in the wheel wells. It's fantastic :metal:

Wicked! Loving your burb man. You have done an awesome job splicing those rigs together, really the best of both worlds

Happy Independence Day, folks!

Its been a while since ive checked in here. So, heres an update:

Since i got it running, i had a few issues to contend with. The truck runs and drives, but i have/had a number of "check engine" codes to attend to. The most frustrating was for intake temp. After a month of throwing new parts ar my truck, i found out the folks who built my harness installed one of the wires in the wrong hole in the plug, i moved the wire, all is well there.

Im also having a problem with the truck when it hit second, and sometimes third gear. It seems to fall in its face for a second or two as soon as it hits its gear. Almost feels like a carb hesitation. Its either a fuel or trans issue. Its frustrating that i cant tell. Oh well, time to bring in a pro.

Threw a new MAF, throttle body, wires, plugs.

Finished installing the remaining glass. I still need to paint and install the interior window trim.

Ive taken the burb to a few shows and recieved a great deal of positive comments. Its funny to see the look on folks faces when i explain what i did. Most people get it, a few cant get their minds wrapped around it.

Dark times indeed for old Eagletucky.......So my transmission took a **** a few weeks back, which set me back a few dollars, then...I found out my motor was low on compression in both cylinders 5 and 8. That's enough to put me over the financial edge! Sooo, I'm going to have to park the Burb for a few months while I save up the dough for a motor rebuild. Sucks, but at least I'll have a new motor and trans next season!

Pour some beer on the curb tonight for my LS2!

I decided to work on widening my front fenders. It seems that when i built this, i didnt give enough room for full suspension travel. Occasionally, the tires and inner fenders were trying to share the same space. I bought another trailer fender and used each side to add another inch to each side. Lots of tacking and grinding. Very slow work, as i cant afford to warp this.

Very nice. Glad you are still able to tinker on it till the engine/tranny issue can be handled

I'm not sure how I've missed this one, but man is this cool. Took some time to read through the build. WOW. I'm impressed.

Absolutely great build. I have a Trailblazer that I was going to sell soon. You are making the wheels turn now. Maybe I should be shopping for a body. This type of project would be a whole lot of fun.

I also wanted to add that I added you to my low buck build threads. Some great content that will fall in line with the low buck build threads. Cool.
