WTB rust free 1972 Blazer doors

As the title says I need a pair of rust free 1972 Blazer doors to replace the non rust free doors on the 2 wheel drive Blazer I just purchased. Doesn't need any glass or anything else but is OK if it has everything. I prefer to buy both from 1 person but will look at what you have. I will consider earlier doors if they are mint.

Please help
Thanks
Mark

Have you considered finding truck doors and cutting the window frames to make them into Blazer/Jimmy doors?
Especially since that is how the Blazer/Jimmy doors were actually made at the GM plants.

Significantly increases your chances to find good original doors, since so few Blazers/Jimmy were made versus trucks manufactured by GM

That is what I did. Found great truck doors in Arizona, then made them into Blazer/Jimmy doors. There are instructions in some post on the forum. Including the original instructions/work sheet used at the GM plants.
Really not difficult to do.

Yes I am considering it and do know the information is in the assembly manual. First choice is 1972 Blazer, second choice would be truck doors cut down, reinforcement plate swapped and the stainless door striker at the top.

Thank you. Many do not know this.

Even though those came off of a 1970 I believe those are 1972 doors.

Thanks for the pictures and offers to help.

I am hesitant to take the add down at the moment. A local board member whom I almost bought a Blazer from (was 4 X 4) and too nice to convert to 2 wheel drive. I inspected that vehicle personally and it was SOLID!! He says he has 2 rust free CA truck doors and a mint tailgate he will sell me. He won't be around for a couple of weeks so I have not seen them and do not have them. I believe and trust this member so I believe I am all set. Until they are in my hands I am going to leave this up.

Thank you all very much

Mark

Nice door. Looks pre-72 to me. Has hole for vent window screw but it doesn’t appear recessed like 72.

I think you are correct. I didn't see the door panel screw holes below the larger slot/holes I was assuming for the plastic push pins. A nice door that could be made to work either way.

I guess I have to be patient and see what the other local member has for me.

Just let me know. I am fairly certain its the original 1970 door but I bought this truck in 1994. I am happy to sell the door to anyone that needs it.
