My do everything truck

I figured I would start putting pictures and updates on a build thread. The bottom of the truck is in epoxy, new inner and outer rockers are done on the passenger side, and I painted the firewall today. This is going to be my do everything truck. I have a 402 for it, but I'm going to badge it as a 396 because the truck is a 69. Th350 for now so it can move.

Front area of floor has a rust proof coating. After this I plan on applying Lizard Skin.

I haven't updated this post in a few months. The bottom of the truck has Raptor Liner now, the drivetrain is in, the exhaust is done, gas tank installed, and I just finished spraying 6 gallons of Lizard Skin on the inside. I'll get some updated pictures when I get a chance.

All that sound deadener will be nice. Big block looks great too!

Did you spray the wood floor?

The sound deadener really made a difference as far as going around the truck and tapping on the panels. Definitely isn't tinny sounding anymore! I only put a light coat on the wood, it was what was left over. More just to seal the wood somewhat. I couldn't see applying a full coating over the wood, I don't think it'll transfer much sound or heat. Once the carpet, padding, and headliner are installed it should be pretty quite. Long ways to go before that happens though! Next on the list is to get the inside painted and do the body work, make it run and move. The list goes on.
