That's exactly what I paid for the nearly exact same truck (color, year, condition) in 1993. Now I'm almost done with it's second frame off build in 26 years. So I either really over paid or this is a really good deal haha.

Sooo... I’ve been in communication with the owner... I offered him my ‘75 in a trade and he offered back my truck plus 4K. It’s not a terrible deal, I just don’t have 4K! Lying around. I have been seriously thinking about a crew cab build so I can haul the whole family around safely, plus have the utility of a real pickup bed.

My only gripe is that it’s got that pale yellow repaint on it. It’s a two tone yellow/white. Paint code 463.

yeah it aint cheap... but I haven't seen a pre-76 crew cab that was lately. I honestly think unless he's willing to trade straight across I'm probably not gonna pursue it. I love my truck, it'd just be cool to be able to throw the whole family in and go for a haul...

Not sure about the story of it being original mileage however.
