Not bad and even a 3500/1-ton!

But...
"NEVER HAD ANY BODY WORK ALL ORIGINAL FACTORY PARTS!!!!!!!"

Considering it has an exterior color change one has to wonder.
The seat cover is an expected change over the years but the paint isn't a cheap correction.

That truck sold on EBay yesterday for 5700.00.. Corresponding with the seller he/she stated they were the original owner. When I asked if they had original rims I was told the rims on the truck had been on since new. I told them no GM truck ever left the factory with rims like that and didn't get response. Your more up on paint codes than I am so is 469 the right paint code for the truck as pictured. I ask cause usually a spid will say white/ medium olive/white/ medium olive when a truck is two toned such as this. Its also missing the GMC fender callouts.

"Chevy build 2,554 of these standard 4x4 only the 1st 500 produced get badge a C-10 titled as a k- series."

What a joke! Fact is all 69-70 base 10-30s used the C/_ _ fender emblems, 4x4 "K" series and 4x2 "C" series alike. Blazers were the only to use a K/_ emblem at all during the 69-72 production run.

There was only one four speed offered in this model, the CH-465 (AKA SM-465), however it would be listed as "M20" on the SPID.

Tim, were the four wheel drive emblems actually put where they are on that blue truck? I thought they were always under the marker light on the fender only?

The paint code shown, 465, describes a Deluxe Two-Tone scheme with 504 Meduim Olive as the primary color. The description shown on the SPID is correct for that code, year and plant.

Here is another 2Z example of 465.

You are correct the "4 WHEEL DRIVE" emblems, used only between 68-70, were located forward under the reflector/marker lamp. The only emblem that should be under the aft located series/trim emblem is the engine callout on trucks with optional engines.

Good catch but there are many issues (deviations from stock) on this truck.

Actually I'd like to see the SPID.

Who wouldn't like to have a chassis table? :-)

"Heavy Chassis table with adaptors. measures 12' x 6' x 30" high. Super heavy..."

Here is a legit short box 4X4 w/auto that needs a good home. If it had air I would be all over it. At $5,500 it seems like fair $$$s.

So did I do something bad when I sold it?

I'm looking for a solid base to start a truck project (first automotive project). I love the 72s.

Anyone have feedback on this truck?

The pics in that ad aren't the best quality. From 20' away it looks like a solid truck (could it be a 20 footer?). If it's not local to you I'd ask the owner for more and better pics, including of the known problem areas.

If it's solid and there aren't major issues (frame, extensive rot covered up by bondo) it seems priced right for a project-starter.

Wish I had the room to park that - it's a real time capsule.

It's almost worth it just for the original sandalwood steering wheel that hasn't rotted to powder like all the others. You know the truck was cared for just by looking at that.

Went and saw this on Friday: https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/5792786459.html

Some observations not in the post:
-A 454 was dropped into it around 2001 (vs. the stock 402)
-Camper model
-Brakes are 'mushy' to put it nicely
-Interior is beat up, missing both interior door panels, etc
-Shifting into anything is a bit of a guessing game, and about as accurate as a broom stick in a bucket of broken glass
-After a quick test ride, a puddle of green liquid under the truck (assuming transmission fluid)
-When opening the glove box, a rats nest of collapsed ducts were behind the dash
-A majority of the gauges don't work
-Very little overall rust with only two small spots where it went through

If it was the original engine and/or I didn't get the feeling I was going to spend a majority of my time undo-ing the 'fixes', I would have brought it home.

I believe they've lowered the price to $1400, and the nephew is who to call as the email route doesn't really work all that well.

I would have taken that truck home if it me looking at it. Can't beat it at 1400 bucks..
