Captainfab, I just joined this group after lurking for months. My first stop is to buy your power brake booster adapter bracket for my 64 C10. So...let me know the next step in this process.

Captain,
Do you have anymore zinc adapters left?
If so, please let me know how much and I will send you a pm.
Thanks

Re: Power Brake Booster Adapter Bracket

Sorry but no I do not. I have only sold 3 of these so far and I have not received any installed pics from those customers and I simply do not have time to make this conversion on my '68 right now. The installation will look very similar to what I make for the '60-'62's. There are some pics in the for sale thread for those......link in my sig line \/ \/ \/

I should have a for sale thread for the '67-'72 conversion in about a week.

Here is the latest version of the power brake booster adapter bracket that I've been making since 1993. This bracket is fabricated from laser cut 10ga mild steel and fits 1967-'72 Chevy and GMC Pickups, Suburbans and panels and is 100% bolt on using holes already in your firewall. The booster side of the bracket has a 3 3/8" x 3 1/2" hole pattern. Boosters with this pattern are commonly found on S10's and full size pickups, Suburbans, Blazers and Tahoes from 1988 to at least 1998. Of course you will have to join the booster pushrod to your stock MC pushrod that attaches to your brake pedal. This can be done by either threading both ends and using a coupling nut, or by just welding them together once you determine the correct length.

I have had the original version ('63-'66) of this bracket on my '66 Suburban and have driven over 120,000 miles with no issues. I have also installed these on a couple of local pickups with good results as well. If you are wanting to add hydroboost to your pickup, Suburban or Panel I also offer a mounting plate for the hydroboost HERE

The price on the bare steel brackets is $55.00 plus a flat $11.65 shipping in the US. If you are located elsewhere contact me for shipping charges. You can also get this bracket in a satin black powder coat for an additional $6.50. Mounting hardware is included. To place an order and for payment information either send me a PM here on the forum or email me at captainfab454@hotmail dot com

Re: Power Brake Booster Adapter Bracket

Only if the factory brackets are bolted to the booster versus riveted. There are many, many, many factory boosters that will work with my booster brackets. The squarebody boosters typically don't work since the factory brackets are usually riveted to the booster.

Yes my booster brackets will work with Hydroboost with the addition of my hydroost mounting plate. Unless your particular hydroboost has the correct factory mounting bracket.

Re: Power Brake Booster Adapter Bracket

Just to reiterate, this booster bracket will not work with a stock column shift unless you use a vacuum booster smaller than 10" or a hydroboost unit.
