Hedder bolt holes...
Has anyone ever had a problem with the Hedman hedder fitment? The hedder bolt holes just don't want to line up with the head holes  can I use a step drill bit in the Hedman Hedders bolt holes to make them fit? 72 3/4 ton HEDMAN PART# 69090 thanks and Happy 4th :flagw:

Re: Hedder bolt holes...
Before you make the holes slightly bigger, try just cutting the flanges between the tubes.

Re: Hedder bolt holes...
The header has a flange. 6 bolt holes in it. Your pipes are welded to it. The flange is the part that bolts to your head.
Common practise is to cut the flange between #1 and #3 and #5 and #7 on the drivers side. Makes the header bolt on and stay tight when you bolt it on. Cut the flange the same on the passenger side. |

Old school trick. I've done that before. Works. :)
