Put my rear swaybar in today. Its a Hotchkis unit for a 82-92 F-body. Got the frame brackets off of ebay. Worked out very nicely, got the idea off the forum here.

Also re-painted my exhaust, got to give it another coat after waiting 24 hrs.

I'm interested in seeing how that sway bar works out. How's the clearance with the mufflers installed? Keep up the hard work!

There is plenty of room between the exhaust and the sway bar, I forgot to take a picture of it lol. It's basically the same as the CPP rear bar but mounts on top of the trailing arms instead of the bottom for better ground clearance. I'm hoping that this bar along with my Hotchkis front bar will make this truck handle on rails

Bennett – That’s cool! Let us know how it works when you get your truck running.

Adding sway bars to my truck was one of the best improvements I did to it of course besides a/c and power steering  my sway bars were from classic perform and my truck handle like it was on rails zero body roll on it...

Thankyou i will. I wanted to run the blade style bar but it mounted where my exhaust is so this was my only choice for a rear sway bar. I'm hoping it works out good.

Al I'm hoping it will handle like it's on rails when I get done. I just hope I didn't kill my handling by putting the huge chunk of iron in the front lol. I hear you on needing the a/c, more so for you in Florida but it gets pretty hot in humid here in Jersey in the summer.

Thanks, I definitely made some mistakes with this build but it's all part of the learning experience.

Bennett—G4L – You’re welcome. We look forward to seeing if you feel a gain in performance. It’s great that you’re being resourceful and thinking outside the box.

Thanks I'm trying my best to come up with a great handling suspension without the resource or the funds to go with a custom setup. Would love to run the full Hotchkis suspension kit but just can't afford that kind of money
