1978 differentials

Hey does anyone know if the front and rear differentials from a 1978 1/2 ton 4x4 will fit under a 69-72 Blazer?

Re: 1978 differentials

The front diff should bolt right in but the rear end will not the spring pads on a 78 diff will have to be cut off and a new set welded on as the widths are different.I am planning on putting newer model running gear under my 71 also.

the center bolt holes on the 73 up fronts are about 1/8" off on both sides, I just forced the springs outboardwith a pry bar
