That is a cool little Falcon! New motor looks great and will run awesome! I am amazed the 302 that was in it made it that far before spitting the crank out - WOW. Congrats on the new shop as well - time to get busy

Thanks Man! I appreciate you following along.

Well, the wife & I ran away to Chattanooga this weekend to go to the Coker Tire cruise-in. We got to hangout with board members Cc69Rat & his Dad NoNeck and family. It was a great time & got to see & HEAR Chad’s ‘69 turned ‘68 restomod beast. This truck is absolutely badA$$!!!

I did get back home this afternoon & worked on getting the EFI tank final installed & getting the initial lines run to the frame. Hopefully the fuel filter will show up tomorrow so I can get the rest of the fuel lines run. I did also get the AOD fluid cooler lines run.

I finally got a chance to tinker on the Falcon some today. I got the new EFI (lower) intake installed, mounted the AAW fuse panel and pulled the 2 engine bay looms through the firewall, and got the Ron Francis EFI harness pulled through the firewall too.

So, I got some more wiring done & I remember why I don’t like living in the humidity belt. I’ve decided to add a/c in the shop.

I’ve been pretty lax lately when it comes to working on Martha, as I’ve been pretty hard and heavy on Walter. I did test fit some new wheel that worked out great. 17x7” Magnum 500 replicas with 0* offset and 245/40r17 BFG’s & they fit like a glove. So, I’m either going to go with them or the Halibrand replicas.

I think old Martha looks mighty fine with those wheels .

The Magnums would be my choice, they look right on that car. Love that Falcon, BTW.

Magnum 500!
That engine shot is magic! Very cool.

Thanks guys!!! That was one wheel that I borrowed off my buddies 67 Mustang. I put it on both rears (since they are the smaller wheel well) and the d/s front. It fit like a glove! I like them too, but I hate to hear “copycat” from him

I thought about this one too, but I’m afraid the grey part would disappear with the way the machined part seems to StAnD OuT.

The Magnums definitely get my vote! What brand are the wheels posted above in post #36 ?

I sold my 77 C10 and had a set of LED headlights that I never installed in it. So I put them in Martha and I love ‘em.

Wheels are mounted and balanced! I had every intention of putting at least 2 of them on tonight, but when I got them M&B my wife called with dinner. And I don’t like to miss a meal

I got a couple of the wheels on the car just to see how they look. I like them a lot. I do think I’ll have to lower it a little, but that’s easy enough.

oooh, I love Falcons! clean, classic lines.. nice work, going to follow..

btw, little trivia.. fastest bird on earth is a falcon, 240mph in full dive!

Re: 1963 1/2 Ford Falcon aka Martha

Thanks guys!!! The car already has Global West Suspension pieces & parts under it. I’ll just have to either replace or cut the existing front springs (depending on their condition).

And, that’s cool info about the Falcon Killer Bee

Thanks Adam. I’m really pleased with them. The rear tires are mighty close to the outer fender edge, but I think 1/4” will be plenty. The 8.8 rearend has all poly bushings and such holding it in place, so lateral movement shouldn’t be much.

Well, I hate...HATE... wiring, but I officially started working on it. I’ve come to the conclusion that Chip Foose, nor any other super car builder is going to redo the car (& Walter) for me. So I spent the better part of this afternoon getting the new headlight & parking light harness tied into the AAW harness. I’m going to try like He77 to do some wiring every evening after work. I figure even 3-4 wires finalized is a big step forward.

Did I mention that I HaTE wiring???
