Mirror shine! That's sweet.

Re: BACK in BLACK
thats purdy, is the filler goin to be behind a fold down license plate?
|
Re: BACK in BLACK
yes sir, the filler lines us perfectly behing a liscence plate fold down holder i pulled off an 81 malibu....a little plasma cuttin' and it turned out perfect. Didnt really like the the idea of having it in the bed floor cuz i plan of this being a daily drive and want easier access. Guess i wasnt thinkin though......bigger motor+bigger carb+lower gears+smaller tank=not close enough gas stations....lol

Re: BACK in BLACK
Thanks for the feedback! I should be getting my interior part in within the next few weeks and hopefully the bed will be ready not long after and yall can see the complete truck. I started about a year and a half ago when i was 17 and on a min. wage budget it aint easy. nice to see it finally coming together! ANY MORE COMMENTS or COMPLAINTS would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: BACK in BLACK
That looks great! Is that a 1st. generation camaro/firebird tank? I thought about going in that direction with my tank. You may need to take a look at some kind of a different filler cap. I have a bumper fill on my '65 pont. and have had a few 1st gen firebirds and when you take off with a fair ammount of gas in the tank it has a tendency to come out of the filler neck. I don't think these tanks are baffled so when you get a wave in the tank it sloshes around for a while. Again, great looking truck and good luck, Lane:c2:
