K-10 front axle ID numbers

I have a 66 chevy K-10, appears to be mostly original. Found some stamped numbers on the front axle tube that I could use some help deciphering. Any one know what the numbers mean?

Thanks for confirming the number in top photo. I will assume the other numbers are part numbers. Many Thanks Again.

The second set of numbers is whats known as BOM (bill of materials). This set of numbers is used by Spicer to identify a certain axle, if there is a parts change mid year in a Spicer axle then this will identify that axle. When ordering some parts you may need to revert to this number to make sure you get the correct part.

Thanks Blazerman, That's some info probably not alot of people knew about. I certainly didn't. Thank you, this is my first 4x4. I'm learning.

Don't think there is enough numbers for the BOM, why I didn't mention it...Its been a long time since I looked up BOMs, but think they start with a 6. Maybe that's just the 60s....

I noticed the orange stroke of paint over the black. I suppose that was to mark that the numbers had been stamped. Thanks Again.

Correct, 67 on up used a six digit number followed by a space or dash and another single.number. Im not sure about the 66 on down trucks. My Spicer manual is for 67 to 78.
