Head lights killing gauge cluster
Hello Everyone,
Newbie here with a question. Picked me up a 72 C10, love my truck. Got a problem and was lucking for some suggestions. Gauge cluster works fine until you turn on the headlights, as soon as you do the gauges quit working. Any suggestions on what to check for... Many thanks |

Welcome to the 67-72 Chevy Truck Board from West Michigan!
My suggestion is to make sure the metal part of the dash is grounded. There should be a small black wire clipped to the dash metal which grounds the cluster. Otherwise you can run a separate ground wire to one of the gauge screws. Jim |
