No tail lites, blinkers...its dark..Help

Hey guys, a guy flagged me tonight and told me I had NO LIGHTS at all in the rear. Sure enough, no running lights and turns dont work. I checked the fuses but it was dark and I dont see too good up close at night. Anyway in the a.m. I must find the prob. No Brake lights either. I will check the plug in the back in the a.m. also but any more suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike
I work the afternoon shift so I will be driving at night again. No brake lights scare me so thanks in advance for the help.

Make sure the rear light connector above the footfeed pedal is in all the way. It may have worked loose. It goes through the firewall. There is also a connector at the last cross member in the rear.

Grounds.
Check all your grounds.
From battery to the engine & core support to the light housings waaaay in the back of the truck.

They can eff you up more than you would ever believe.

I would have to say grounds too... esp since the turn signals are not on the same circuit as the tail/brake lights

There isnt many. One of the battery and then the harness assembly ...fuel pump .... then what ever accessory you have running. At least my truck doesnt have many. Id say check the fuse box.

I had the exact same issue, and it was the ground at the tail light housing. It "looked" OK, but when I touched it, it fell apart.

I have had the same problem, and mine was the fuse.Dash lights and every thing in front working but nothing on the back. The fuse was blown in a spot that was hard to see by the end.

Yeah I had posted an update with a new post so folks would not waste their time. Thanks again...it was the plug at the back between bed and frame had come loose. I checked out several of the tips and worked my way to the cold hard ground, and there it was, oh what a relief. Thanks a ton and all have a merry Christmas. Mike...
