Muncie 4 speed or 3 speed with low?
I have a 1972 K-10 V-8 with the muncie 4 speed. My friend says I have a three speed with low. Of course we're both agreeing I have four forward gears and one reverse. My question is can anybody produce any proof as to which one of us is correct? Three with low or four speed?

AFAIK, you're both right. Aren't all of the four-speeds in these trucks (originally, at least) "granny gear" four speeds, where first is obscenely low to get moving with big loads?
