1967 swb frame off build
Heres some pics of my 67 build. This is my first c10 and i love it! I bought the truck in mid december of 2014. My original plan was to bag it, and leave the truck the way it sits. Now the truck is completely dissasembled and is being painted and the frame is at powder coat. Im also dropping in a 6.0 ls motor.
Heres how the truck looked the day i picked it up. the original owner already did a disc brake conversion and lowered it. http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...214_160212.jpg http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...214_160332.jpg http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...215_194104.jpg Then i started dissasembly. http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...103_160050.jpg http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...117_135348.jpg http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...209_204535.jpg http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...210_192747.jpg Some fire wall patching http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...220_201001.jpg http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...220_200955.jpg I also ordered the ride tech coil over kit. This stuff looks real nice and i cant wait to start installing it when my frame gets back from powder coat. http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...219_203658.jpg http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...219_182817.jpg http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/...123_142134.jpg Its gonna be a slow process. Im hoping to have the majority of this done by mid to late summer. Ill post more pics as i move along... |

Here's some rust repair. I thought this truck was a lot more solid until I got deeper into it.

Rear suspension almost done. Waiting on my rear coil overs that I ordered on Thursday. This ridetech stuff is real nice and going together very nice!

Re: 1967 swb frame off build
Thanks guys. We must have sprayed about ten test panels before I decided on a color. It's such a big decision

It's a color I picked out at a paint store. It does look close to your color
