Gas tank and guage S-10 swap

ok, not posting this in my thread because I would like to have more eyes on this one. So I am doing and s-10 frame with gas tank in it's stock location.

The gas gauge is original and I have it set up for 12v. Now to my knowledge the sending unit in an s-10 tank is 90ohms where as the original guage/sending unit is 30 ohms. So how can you use the stock tank and sending unit and have the gas guage read properly?

I was contplating fabbing up the original tank and buying an aftermarket 12v sending unit for it. It is too bad those wouln't fit in the s-10 tank.

I don't want to run the tank like the blazers, and or past the axle where the spare would theoretically go.

Any ideas? any pics of an original tank mounted to the s-10.
P.S behind the seat is completely out of the question for me.
Anyone have success running the OG gas guage with and s-10 tank and have it read properly??

thanks
