1972 chevcummins
just bought 1972 pickup with 1994 12 valve in he frame rails just wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for wiring up the alternator into the original harness.

The dodge really only has 4 leads, so it should line up in some fashion....I just haven't gotten back under the hood since I'm trying to get the fueling system tied up and the bed back on. Here is a diagram I posted in another thread for using a Ford type external regulator. It's in post 217. I tried re attaching it, but couldn't on this Kindle.

Ford used Nippondenso alternators on bigger trucks in the 70's with their normal regulators. When stuffing a Cummins in Ford, this makes the charging system very easy to hook up.
