Replacement woodgrain for bezel?

Is there anywhere you can buy just the woodgrain sticker? Has anyone redone their bezel themselves and used a specific product? What was the product/procedure/result?

Thanks!

I thought about doing this myself. I looked online and even went to Lowes to look at the wood grain laminate they have in rolls but decided not to. Putting the stick on laminate would be a hard detailed process. It could be done, but I'm probably not that good at that type of detailing. So, decided not to attempt it.

Good luck.

This is what I've seen being recommended.

Have not used it personally, so can't comment on that, but I've seen other folks vouch for it on here.

Anybody know what the correct wood grain in the 3m Di-Noc would be?

Do not know about the 3m product but here are some ideas for vinyl wood grain wrap that might work:

I'm not sure if any of the 3M offerings are direct matches or not, but according to the factory sales literature, there were 3 different simulated wood grain finishes used for the dash bezels and other interior trim from 1973 to 1977.

1973 - 1974 = Dark Walnut
1975 - 1976 = Burlwood
1977 = Chestnut

The wood grain was replaced with a brushed metal finish in 1978 that continued up into the 80's.
They went back to a wood grain in some of the R/V series around 89 or so but I don't remember seeing any specific name for it in the brochures.
