I just fixed her up. All stock never a wire cut or hole drilled. I love the customs. What would you do?

Palf70Step 05-02-2005 12:46 PM

Too nice to hack in my opinion. Get out the knee pads.:D

Old Dave 05-02-2005 12:48 PM

Very nice truck you have. Personally I like them stock, but it's yours and you can do what you want. :)

Alexis 05-02-2005 12:49 PM

Looks fine to me.

I say shot for a new project.

stllookn 05-02-2005 12:55 PM

I think I had better put that under protective custody so you will not be tempted to do any mods to it! Send me your address...I will be right over...LOL!

I see the space needle in your avatar...are you a Seattle local? Lets get together and compare notes. I am doing a full stock restoration on my 1968 50th Anniversary Longhorn.

Welcome to the board if I have not already offered that greeting!

Buy another project to customize and leave that one the way it is!

demi 05-02-2005 01:02 PM

:agree:

gefs55 05-02-2005 01:03 PM

Leave it alone. By the way what color orange is that?

stllookn 05-02-2005 01:07 PM

How some more pics of that truck? Interior, engine...what options etc.? Very nice!

Deuce 05-02-2005 01:08 PM

Keep it as is and buy another truck for your "Custom Build"

70 shorty 05-02-2005 01:20 PM

Don't touch it like everyone else said. That's a mighty nice looking truck, too nice to cut up.

dtlilly 05-02-2005 01:24 PM

I'll tell you what... you need to keep that baby stock and like a rock! Go fudge up a bastard truck that no one cares about. The bone stock trucks are the only thing keeping the value of these trucks alive!!

sneakysnake 05-02-2005 01:31 PM

As clean as that truck is leave it.There are plenty of trucks out there to hack up and modify.I fact a good hack job will require two or three trucks for parts.LOL

VetteVet 05-02-2005 01:55 PM

I agree with everybody. That truck is just too nice to customize. Maybe a set of wheels or anything easy to change back to stock. Tell the wife you'll take her on a cruise and then go buy a canoe. LOL

Joe67 05-02-2005 02:00 PM

Looks to be way too nice to mess with, buy another

67ChevyRedneck 05-02-2005 02:09 PM

A truck that purty??? Drive it and buy another!

2nd that

1STtimePRo'71 05-02-2005 02:32 PM

Throw some new wheels on it first, and then get a new project no matter what the old lady says.

cdowns 05-02-2005 02:34 PM

use that one to haul yard debris and stuff to the landfill, and as a parts chaser for your next project

Hey!!! That's what a #ord is for!! :hm:

inline6Bill 05-02-2005 03:35 PM

The MOST I would do is put custom wheels and tires on that beauty. That pickup is WAY to nice to customize more than that.

Russell 05-02-2005 03:40 PM

I'd put nice wheels on it, but nothing else!

Just remember, as far as a new project goes -- Its easier to ask for forgivness than permission! :D

Bamm 05-02-2005 04:16 PM

I think as stock as it looks in that pic, that I would leave it EXACTLY like it is. I don't think any aftermarket wheels would be an improvement because of it's almost 100% totally stock look.
