Double wall weather strip fun / rant...
 

Once again another hurdle with this truck. We received the truck with a damaged single wall , the owner decides to get a double wall that a missing mostly everything but hinges and latches.

Fast forward to today since well I'm apparently not that smart and trying to get it to him before the show flies and now since it never had any seals on it I start to install them and literally nothing makes sense to me lol

Would someone possibly be able to post a few pics drivers or passenger side window to top seals at the windshield frame the little shaped ones that look to go between the top and the windshield frame. Aswell as the rear hatch seal it seems to fit in a few spots and after all the work I have into this I would hate to have someone say hey that seal is x when it should be y

This seal for sure has me scratching my head, does the window seal over lap or butt to it the seal quality I got from llc seems lacking as both are different lengths.

The seals in your last two pictures span the gap between the top of the windshield A-pillar and the leading edge of the hard top rain gutter on each side of the Blazer. Basically centered over the top of the triangular wing windows in the doors. Not a great picture, but best I have right now.

Thanks that's exactly how it appeared to go but it was also confusing to me . I'll get the top bolted on then work at them

That is an old picture of my Blazer taken before I removed all of the diamond plate and properly repaired all the rust they were hiding. I can't remember now if I still have that diamond plate kit (made by ORD), or if I sold it. Shoot me a PM if you are interested in them and I will check my attic for them.

Easiest to put them on the top and then set your top on to the truck.

Top to bed rail seals are also being a Pita. I have a funny feeling they are for a single wall but patience will win over I suppose anyone have access to a double wall to take a picture if this is the correct seal or just experience with them.

They just don't seem to look right to me

Hey Mike! Did you ever get the bed rail seals to work out? I'm using PRP replacements that look exactly like yours. Curious if you ever found out exactly where the ends lie under the top. I have mine mocked up, just trying to nail down where the ends terminate before I glue them in. (Truck has been at the body shop and I didn't get to see them seals before.) Looks to me like the small flap at the front of the rail seal covers the rear door weatherstrip to prevent water from dripping in, just unsure about the rear block-shaped portion of the bed rail seal, doesn't seem to fit the channel well? Thanks man!
