some H/D trucks came with 454's but dont be fooled by the 366 big blocks that came in a lot of H/D trucks. Getting an older 454 is getting to be damn near impossible these days

took me forever to find my motor, the 1st time i bought a 454 it ended up being a 366. almost went to small claims court to take it back b/c the seller thought it was a 454 too. Anyway i eventually found one but paid a pretty penny for it!

I have a '73 454 out of a GMC. High mileage, sold as rebuilder, wasnt knocking when pulled, complete, carb to pan, choice of lwp pullies or swp dbl crank pulley, $500. Also have 1-402, and 6-396's rebuilders- $300 - $400ea. I'm in southcentral Ks though, email me if interested, Greg

454's aren't that hard to find in NW Iowa but freight would be a *****.
