Wow!! It's been a while since I posted any updates! I keep thinking my life is going to get less hectic at some point,, but that doesn't seem to be the case! It's been a rough year! I even manged to survive the covid!! But it wasn't easy. At one point I passed out in my hallway. The resulting fall fractured my skull, chipped my knee bone, put my bottom teeth through my lip and caused me to bite halfway through my tounge.
On a brighter note,, I did manage some progress on the truck. I got the fuel system all plumbed and wired.

I also got the exhaust system in with a heat shield on the left hand side. There is existing heat shielding on the right side.

So I did manage to get the truck fired up and running! It sounds great! Very mean and intimidating. I wish I knew how to upload my video of the fire up.

At the end of fall I turned my attention to getting some paint on some parts before the weather got cold and damp and things started to rust.

Glad to see you are still at it.

For videos you'll have to load them on something like YouTube, then link them to a post.

I bought a portable carport from Harbor freight (great size and price!!) to use as a paint booth. It also doubles as a place to put the boat for the winter. And that's about where things stand at this point. Waiting for warmer weather to get back to painting. I still have a lot of work to do on the doors too.

Wade, sorry to hear of your fall but glad to see and hear you recovered and have been working on the truck! I've got a car I need to un screw up my paint on and then finish it. Hopefully for this summer.

I'm in the same boat,, trying to get things done for other people so when the weather warms up I can get back on the project. Great to hear from you Ryan. :cf:

Went through you whole thread this evening when I saw your post on my build thread. Impressive work and a good attitude to keep at it and get it done regardless of circumstances. Will subscribe and keep watch.
Richard

Hey Richard,, thanks for your interest and compliments!! I really enjoyed reading through your build and I like the direction your going. As far as my attitude,, I think it's about stretching myself,, you know,, getting outside my comfort zone and area of expertise and trying to learn and "do myself" what I see others doing. I learn a lot from being on this site and getting the encouragement helps too. Seems like your doing the same. Keep up the good work!!
