And more.. The 4th pic has a burb w/factory hood ornament. I see very few "vintage" pics that document these.

That SchoolBus pic is one of my favorites.
I guess I like peeking back in time at good family life.

Heres a cool old GM archive video on the 1963 truck line. Has tons of good reference pictures in it.

I love the narration of this video. I have a brochure about the Baja Run, but had never seen the video.

And a couple for the GMC guys...including a prototype V6 emblem that was never used. This is the only picture I have ever seen of this prototype emblem.

Yeah, I have a couple of original posters/handouts from the baha run, but this was the 1st video I've seen of it. Didn't know exactly where to post the vintage videos, but I figured this was probably the closest thread for them.

The videos will fit in here just fine. If I'm not mistaken, some are posted throughout this thread as well:

Sorry, wasn't meaning that the video links you posted were in that thread. I hadn't dug through to see if they were there, but was just saying that there are some similar videos in that movie thread. Like you, I try not to double post if possible as well. I personally posted some from music videos in the movie thread. It's a great collection of various videos with 60-66's, not just particular to theater movies. :chevy:

I'd sure like to see the rest of that trim package.
And that engine display is pretty neat, too.

So would I A.T. RockDriller. I'll continue to dig and see if I can find any other images of the emblem and trim package. Looks to me like its maybe 5-7" wide? The trim really looks cool the way it flows with the fender.

Ive contacted GM Authority to see if they have any more pictures of this truck and the trim.

Hey, I had seen a video on YouTube about that double V6 GMC engine running and tought that someone slapped two together, never thought it was reality. Dig the pics 1963c-10, really a big eye opener.

Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.

No problem. I have a couple of other pics of the "twin 6" i can post tomorrow. I don't know why they GMC nicknamed it that....v12 sounds much tougher in my opinion. It does look like two v6 engines bolted together, but its a 1 piece crank.

There is also a whole thread here on the 60-66 board on the v12's. Even a c-10 with one installed. Pretty cool thread.

I like the older pics because of the differnt applications....same as today. Most are internet finds over the years from different searches, most I didn't rename so they are mixed up with different projects and stored pics, so I pull them aside and have been posting them when i get 20-40 batched up. Some people have found pics close to home, one person found an old family pic i belive...but most are anonymous. Would be cool if we had more info on some of them.
