350 with hydraulic clutch?
Is anyone running a hydraulic clutch on their 350? if so how hard was the conversion and what product did you use? Im doing a auto to manual conversion and feel the hydraulic clutch and bellhousing would work better that the original type set up. Thanks for your time

Re: 350 with hydraulic clutch?
Several of us do. I used a captainfab master cylinder mount and clutch pedal linkage, with a gm slave and luk clutch from NAPA all in an aluminum 80’s sm465 bell housing. There’s pictures of my setup in the link in my signature look starting around page 5 or 6.

Another quick question, will that bellhousing work with a 4 speed Saginaw transmission?

The center hole where the front bearing retainer goes is smaller on the saginaw. I don't remember if anyone makes a sleeve or not.

Re: 350 with hydraulic clutch?
A car bellhousing or truck 3 speed works with the Saginaw 4 speed. I think both Novak and Advanve Adapters make register rings to fit the car trans to the truck large bore bellhousing.
