A few 72's 07-08-2004 03:38 PM

As always with a blazer, More pictures please
Is that a paint line around the wheel wells or some sort of molding? Gives it a little different look.

Won't have more pics until the begining of next month. I pick it up on August 1st. I spoke to the seller for quite awhile. The pass fender is bent up( I have a complete 69 front clip), and it needs rockers. He said other than that the truck is solid. Can someone tell me what transfer case this has. According to the PO the drivetrain is original.

If it's a 4 speed, most likely a Dana 20. If it's an auto trans. it should have a NP205. Assuming that it is infact a 1970.

This is according to my 1970 restoration packet...but as we all know, GM didn't stick to any rules.

TH350 trans.

Climb under when you get it and look at the rear of the transfer case. If you see a silver dollar sized cover with 3 bolts holding it on it's a 205.

You'll have the NP205. AFAIK, the Dana 20 only came in all 3 speed K5's and some of the 4 speeds. Nice blazer!

BobbyK 07-08-2004 07:37 PM

This is what the back of a NP205 looks like.

pound41 07-09-2004 07:58 AM

Not anything specific I was going to go and look at it a few weeks ago but never got around to it. I have a 70 and a 71 so I try to go and see the ones for sale that are local. Looks like a nice truck let me know if you need any help. Billy
