Body panel rust issues
 

I have extensive rust in the front floor boards and rockers of my suburban is there a company that sells a complete front floor board for the 67-72 suburban. I have a donor suburban for most of my rockers but it has bad floor boards in the front as well. Any suggestions? I have attached some pictures of my floors. Also can anyone recoment a shop in AZ that they have used for rust repair and body work. I am looking to have this done in the next 2 months and would love to have everything in line to make it as easy as possible

wouldnt a truck floorboard work?

if not, use the donar suburban floor, and it looks like you will need inner, outer rockers, maybe kick panel patch, and lower piller patch.

never know till everything comes off so its hard to have the parts lined up and ready...its always something!

My floor was pretty rusted out and I went with the LMC truck floor, which also made it easier for me when I installed the new seats. If I remember I had to shorten it a bit to fit in the panel truck but I'm sure it'd work on the burb...good luck!

here's a pic of the truck floor installed. When I say I had to "cut it to fit" I mean it was cut short "behind the seats" where it meets the bulkhead.

thanks I appreciate it a bunch. I will check out the lmc stuff. out of curiosity what is the color and brand of the red paint used on your truck? I am looking at making my Burban red and black 2tone and that is around the color red I want.

The paint is "Victory Red" (I think it is actually a Honda red but don't tell anyone)...and it is Dupont base/clear. Also, I used LMC but there are other providers of truck floors ( I believe) so maybe shop around.

I have a 70 suburban and am doing the exact same thing. The rockers are different but will work. The floors will work. I bought all my stuff from brothers , they seemed to have good prices. One of the parts was defective so I hope they take care of it.
