WTB: '94-'98 grill

Just bought my '93 and I like the newer style grills a little better. to avoid making anyone  , I'll state up front that I'm not looking for a grill as much as I'm looking for a dirt cheap mint condition grill  . Oh yeah, if you have the filler plates to convert from '93 to '94, let me know that as well.

Perhaps I should have specified I'd like to stay with the chevy grill

I can get aftermarket stuff. Grille is $120. + shipping and the fillers are $30 for the pair + shipping. This is new aftermarket stuff. Let me know ,Erick And yours is composite headlamps if i am guessing right.

My dad just gave 75 for a new grill for his 94 sub. New 88-93 grills were 100 bucks.

explain the composite vs. sealed beam headlights to me. If I'm assuming correctly , the composite are the 4 light set up, the sealed beam are the 2 light deal, but why the difference in name?

Cochran, where did your dad get one for $75?

bisquik65 01-03-2005 11:14 PM

Sealed beam are like the W/T or base truck. Regular headlights and composite are the euro style that take a 9005 bulb.

Okay, thats what I thought. When they say composite, though, are they refering to a composite material that the housing is made of, or what? Is it just composite because the bulb plugs in?

He ordered the grill at the salvage. The salvage carries new parts as well as used ones. THe phone number is 918 868 3436 it is Martins Salvage. I doubt if he will ship though.

If still interested my sons soon to be father-in-law had
a 96 grill still in box. I could check with him see what
he wants. Let me know . . . Don

Thanks for all the replies, but I think I'm going to wind up leaving it alone, at least for now. Thanks anyway.
