Just changed short blocks and haven't been to the track with the truck in a while (too busy playing with the car and Camino) But don't expect the change to a lighter better rotator to make any significant changes,,,,, 12.03 @ 107,. Typically mid 1.6 sixty's but have seen a couple of 1.60's on a good tight track, with a n/a pump gas small block.

Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

7.27 @ 94 with a 1.55 60' in the 1/8. No quarter mile tracks close to me, so 1/8 mi. is all I've ran. This was ran on pump gas w/o n2o.

Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

8.93 @ 151.00
5.71 @ 123.00
only a 1.32 60ft
10.90 @ 149.00 in s/st
I'm hoping to better this after I freshen the motor and change the cam .

Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

hey shaun. on my slow turd its a 69 not 67. but its all good cause everyone thinks it is a 67 cause its got the 67 front end.so i guess you can call it either, but its a 350 stock bottom end, TH-350, 3,000 stall, N20 adder, 4.10 rear gear, with a 325/50r15 MT street DR. comment=daily driven

old combo since I blew it up and will be moving towards a much larger motor!

14 to 1 60 over 454 with Brodix aluminum heads. Dominator, Speedtech plate with 250 jets in it. Glide with ultra bell, ultra case and 1.80 straight cut gear set. Trailing arm rear with coilovers and an anti roll bar! 9 inch Ford rear with 4.30 pro gears. 35 spline gun drilled moser axles and a spool.

Kevin

P.S. We are gonna add almost 100 cubic inches to this combo.

I've been eying this up, thinking next summer or fall maybe. Run N/A on pump gas for bracket racing, and leave my N2O on for fun.

WELCOME to the zoo that's pretty quick.

Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

Ok.. Updated with DJ's stuff and Raddracintrk..

I split the sheet so the there are 1/8 times and 1/4 times. I did this as some have only made 1/8 passes and I don't want to take away from how fast their trucks are moving setting them at the bottom of a 1/4 mile list.

Couch, sorry.. I forgot to add your additional info. I added it to the sheet and it will be on the next update.

Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

Well I was hoping to have a better time for you to post up with my new setup, but a major head wind was effecting everyones times untill the evening when it cooled off and the wind died causing alot of breakouts, unfortunately I was in the trailer by then.

last years best was a 10.77 @124mph with a 1.56 60'.

I have ran 1.53 60's but was bracket racing and had to let off so I didn't breakout, pretty sure I would have been in the high 10.6's that Sat.

Old setup when the run was made:
489 BBC
150 shot
4128lbs. without driver
Turbo 350
4500 stall
4.10 gears
29x14.5 tire

New changes:
4003lbs. without driver
4.30 gear
31x16.5 tire

I wish I could lose 120 lbs. I am on a diet but I can't lose that much I'd weigh less than 100 lbs.
