Hello,
I am selling my '71 so I can by a '68 stepside. It is a no option truck that was used as a college utility truck for it's whole life. I bought it last year and have put about 3000 miles on it. It has 84,000 original miles. Runs excellent. I replaced the carb shortly after I bought it. Other than that I haven't done anything. I has a 250/6 w/3 on the tree. I runs and drives well and there is no slop in the steering. I'm asking $1800 obo. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at bfit01@hotmail.com I will drive the truck as far a Phoenix or San Diego for delivery. |

Is this truck capable of an 1800 mile interstate trip at say 65 MPH ?.......Thanks........Zoomy

I would have no problem driving it that distance. I took the truck in and had it completely checked out when I bought it last year. It got a new carb and tuneup at that time. I've only put 3000 miles on it since then. Longest trip was about 300 miles in 115 degree heat at 70 and I had no problems. The truck does not burn or leak oil and the brakes are in good condition.
