We have a date already scheduled for August 5th to go into the hospital. All I asked was that she wait until after the show on July 16th :)

A buddy of mine locally here, picked up an old caprice that would lay frame. He was parting it out and I picked up ALOT of the goodies for a STEAL!!!!

Was it that gray one from Craigslist? That thing was a mess, but it laid out hard.

Re: Project Patina Burb

You would be correct, and yes, it was a mess underneath.

Re: Project Patina Burb

Got alot done on the burb today. Installed the bag brackets, cut the cups down to 5/8, installed the bags, and installed the 3 inch drop spindles.

Got done right before it started pouring with some help from my best worker.

Bought a set of 22's with tires off Craigslist today. One of the tires needs replaced and one of them has some curb rash, but they were really cheap.

Re: Project Patina Burb

It came out of a 2003 Tahoe. He said it had 52k on it. Also said he wasn't sure which motor it was, but I talked to Backyard88 and he said it would have had to been special order to be a 4.8, so I'm going to say it's a 5.3

I'm thinking you must be ALMOST as help as your little helper is, to see new shiny wheels and a new motor. My girls always loves it when I get something new and or shiny for these old trucks. Very nice upgrades.
